Welcome to Leave A Mark and thanks for dropping by! I, like I imagine most people out there, have always dreamed of making the world a better place and leaving my mark on it, which led to this blog.
Leave A Mark is designed for, well, people like me. People who clean out their rooms and can't stand the thought of throwing something away but will donate it to good will or a thrift store. People who think four dollars is ridiculous for a cup of coffee but are happy to give five for a buddy poppy. People who create recycling boxes at work and are convinced every little bit helps.
It is not a blog for anyone to get on a soapbox about this, that or the other thing. It is simply a place where you can go to find out what to do with your old flip flops, who would benefit from your children's old toys, and how to keep stuff out of landfills. It is a blog to offer awareness to diseases and to help non-profits reach more people to register for walk-a-thons. It is my way of helping people who are devoted to helping people and making the world a better place.
Please, do not come here to go on tangents about politics or religion. Do not bash one organization over another. This is not a place for you and your comments will be removed. Please, offer this site to others. We all have too much of something and for every one of us who has too many, there are three people with not enough.
This is a place to you to find out how you can leave a mark.
